The Infallible Method for Germination
- Next, wrap the seeds in paper towels or slightly damp cotton.
- Place them in a sealed freezer bag and close it.
- Keep the sachet in a warm place. And wait!
- After a few weeks, you will see the first root appear. Wait until it measures a few centimeters before removing the seeds from the bag.

Growing your own lemon tree

Once your lemon seed has germinated and has a root a few centimeters long, you have two options to continue growing the seed.

- Option 1: Plant the germinated seed in the soil .
Fill a breathable ceramic pot with light potting soil to provide your plant with the best conditions.

- Option 2: Let the seed bloom in water
Place the sprouted seed on a germination tray – like this one – set over a glass of water, making sure the root touches the water. Wait a few weeks before you have the joy of seeing the first leaves appear!

We at Jardiniste really like this method, to add a touch of poetry to your interior.

Practical tip: change the water regularly to avoid stagnation.
