Eléonore d’Hauteville fondatrice de Jardiniste et créatrice d’oeuvres botaniques Les Fleurs Pressées

The founder of Jardiniste, Eléonore, has always been surrounded by flowers and gardening. She grew up in a family steeped in botanical aesthetics.

This universe has inspired her throughout the years, leading her to delve into propagation, pressed flowers and herbariums, botanical drawing, and cyanotypes.

She has a deep affection for English gardens, intertwined flowers, grand greenhouses, and the garden as a cradle of emotions.

In 2020, she founded Jardiniste to offer her ideal collection of gardening tools and poetic botanical objects. She carefully curates rare garden products that combine practicality and elegance. From Japanese pruning shears and gardening knives to elegant baskets and watering cans, as well as vases for propagation and water culture, Eléonore has personally tested each one.

Eléonore is also the artist behind Les Fleurs Pressées, a series of botanical artworks blending collages and modern herbariums. Inspired by her passion for flowers and botany, this series conveys a poetic vision of nature, where each composition becomes a vegetal reverie. A selection of these works is available in Jardiniste’s Botanical Gallery.

The emblem of Jardiniste: a garden kiosk, a space both indoors and outdoors, perfect for contemplating nature.

Her favorite flower: the columbine. With great emotion, she now sees these flowers blooming on her Paris balcony—flowers, deeply represented in Art Nouveau, that inspire her and originate from the seeds of her grandparents' garden.

Her favorite season: spring.
